Top Software Companies in Pakistan: 8 Well-Known Names

If you search for the top software companies in Pakistan, you will find a lot of lists and very little agreement. There is no official ranking, and many lists are paid placements. This guide takes a simpler approach: eight established names that are widely known in the industry, with what each one actually does.
We are AlimcoSoft, a software house in Islamabad, so we have an interest in this topic. The list below is alphabetical, not a ranking, and we have not included ourselves in it. Company details come from each company's public profiles, stock listings and news coverage, checked in November 2026. We left out staff numbers and some founding dates because sources disagree on them.
10Pearls
10Pearls was started in 2004 by brothers Imran and Zeeshan Aftab as a small operation in Pakistan. It is now a US-headquartered digital engineering company with teams in several countries, including Pakistan. It works on custom software, product design and cloud modernization.
Arbisoft
Arbisoft is a custom software and mobile app company with its roots in Lahore. Clutch and LinkedIn list 2007 as its founding year. It is known for long-term engineering teams for international clients, with focus areas such as education technology, travel and healthcare.
Devsinc
Devsinc is based in Lahore, with an office in Islamabad and others abroad. It exports web and mobile development, generative AI, cybersecurity and cloud migration services, and is often hired for staff augmentation.
Folio3
Folio3 describes itself as headquartered in California, with its large Pakistan operation at Folio3 Tower in Karachi and an office in Lahore. It offers digital transformation and software development services.
NetSol Technologies
NetSol is a product company more than a service company. It makes leasing and asset finance software, used by automakers and finance companies. It is headquartered in Calabasas, California, trades on Nasdaq as NTWK, and has its large technology centre in Lahore. Its Pakistani company is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Systems Limited
Founded in Lahore in 1977, Systems Limited is generally regarded as the first software house in Pakistan. It is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange under the symbol SYS. Its work covers software development and business process outsourcing, with operations in the US, the Middle East and Africa.
Techlogix
Techlogix is a Lahore-based IT services and consulting firm focused on enterprise work, including business intelligence, process management, enterprise applications and software product engineering.
VentureDive
VentureDive is a Karachi-based technology studio founded in 2012, with an office in Lahore. It builds mobile and web software and handles product design and testing. Business Recorder has reported that it built the technology platform behind Careem.
Large company or smaller software house?
Many of the names above are set up for large clients and long engagements, often from overseas. That suits an enterprise rollout or a bank. It may not suit a local business that needs a website, an app or a first version of a product, where you could be a small account for a large company.
A smaller software house usually means you speak to the people building your project, and it can start sooner. The trade-off is less capacity for very large programmes and fewer specialist teams. Choose based on the size of your project, not the size of the company name.

How to compare any company on this list, or any other
A place on a top 10 list tells you very little about your project. Before you sign with any company, large or small:
- Ask for live work similar to your project and open it yourself
- Ask who will build it, and speak to the lead developer
- Check the company on the SECP website and read detailed reviews
- Get ownership of the code, domain and accounts in writing
- Pay by milestone, tied to something you can see working
